FormscanBy Alan Magee - DINNIE’S VINNIE has proved a grand servant to connections and appears to have found a good opportunity to record a fourth win under rules. The point-to-point winner was nearly eight before making his debut on the track but has scored three times in staying handicap chases since starting from a lowly mark. He looked sure to score on his penultimate outing at Fairyhouse before being pegged back in the closing strides, and meets a group of rivals here that are generally difficult to fancy. Top-weight Hand Of The King is quite lightly raced and remains of interest having exited while leading on his latest two outings. Bandon Bridge won twice in point-to-points and, having won in Warwick last year, seems to be settling into Jimmy Mangan’s yard judged on his latest third at Tramore last month.
