The former point-to-pointer won a bumper over two-and-a-half but was a touch keen over a similar trip over hurdles at Naas last month so might be worth a shot over shorter again now. Johngus lost out in a good finish at Gowran last month and is rated just a pound lower than the selection. Rachael Blackmore is an eye-catching booking and he has to be a leading contender. The Gordon Elliott-trained Stranger Danger was no match for Eurotiep on his hurdling debut at Thurles last month but is entitled to come on a bit from that experience. Promising claimer Jordan Gainford takes a useful 7lb off his back now.
