FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Ryan Moore makes the dash from York (rides Ten Sovereigns in the Nunthorpe Stakes at 3.35) to ride four horses for Aidan O’Brien at the Curragh, starting with the Leopardstown runner-up CABOT HILLS . This half-brother to Chesham winner and Fillies’ Mile runner-up September kept on well to chase home the clear-cut Harrington-trained winner Free Solo on his debut, and had more fancied stablemate Cormorant back in fourth. The last-named edged out Agitare next time out back at Leopardstown, but the Bolger colt showed good battling qualities when going down by just a short head. The other Ballydoyle runners, Amhran Na Bhfiann (full-brother to 2012 Epsom Oaks winner Was) and Persia (out of Irish Guineas and Irish Oaks third Just Pretending) are obviously worthy of respect on their debuts, as is the very expensive yearling Golden Maze (dam was a Listed winner for Sir Michael Stoute). Degraves and Sinawann were separated by just a short head when both made pleasing debuts here a fortnight ago. They step up to a mile now, and are well entered-up in Group races next month.
