The latter followed up in a handicap here on Tuesday off a mark of 82. Dermot Weld will obviously have a good line on that form and Shamad represents the chief threat. The son of Shamardal has raced over a variety of trips and ground conditions, and has been lightly raced since the spring presumably due to the stables poor run of form. Free Ranger ran keenly on his only start in the Leopardstown maiden won by Irishcorrespondent and could step forward considerably from that run, a comment that may also apply to Lion Hearted.
