Make no mistake, Mark Molloy isn't prone to unduly talking-up his horses – he always said Near Perfection was a good one – so I for one will be disappointed if he can't beat these. Goonyella has to be respected given his connections but I'd prefer to side with the older Near Perfection. There's no doubt that Goonyella is progressive but he'll need more to score here. On his best, Clount's Native would come into it and he's equipped with cheek-pieces. Johnnyofcourse definitely has the form to challenge for a place in the frame and a similar comment applies to Nevskij.
