FormscanBy Gary Carson - ELIGIBLE is an interesting runner for Noel Meade having had two runs for Tim Vaughan in England last season. He was a decent second on his debut and the winner franked that form afterwards but was a big drifter when well beaten second time out. It looks significant that Meade runs him in a bumper, instead of going jumping, and he must be showing him enough at home to suggest he's capable of winning one. Blackmail looked a nice sort when taking his point-to-point last April and the market may prove the best guide to his chances while Champagne James, a full-brother to smart bumper performer Rory O'Moore, is an interesting debutant.
