FormscanBy Donal Murphy - I'll side with CALL IT MAGIC in this interesting contest. He only managed one win last season at Wexford in October, but did run some good races in defeat. He disappointingly pulled up on his final start of the campaign at Punchestown in April, and was again well-beaten on his return to action over flights at Cork last month. He is likely to come on plenty for that effort, and he is tried in blinkers for the first time now with Ruby Walsh booked to ride. The Gatechecker won his maiden hurdle over the course in 2015, and he is given second preference. The son of Classic Cliche was successful at Naas in January, and has filled the runner-up spot three times since. He went down by just half a length at Listowel recently, and the step up in trip here to two mile seven should suit. Jimmy Two Times got off the mark over fences at Downpatrick in August, and he should give a good account of himself, while Net D'Ecosse and Thanks For Tea are other leading contenders.
