FormscanBy Tom Weekes - ROXBORO ROAD is a hopeful pick to win on handicap debut in a very ordinary handicap. He has been beaten a long way in each of his three maiden hurdles runs but there was promise shown when seventh at Navan in February in a leagues-better race that has thrown up plenty of useful winners, including Antey and Pallasator. He hasn't been over-burdened with his initial 98 rating and the presence of Mark Walsh (Barry Geraghty doesn't ride at the fixture) is also a positive. The similarly owned Bay Hill is an obvious danger, despite the lack of a recent outing and, on jockey bookings, is the owner's apparent second-string. He has only every won once over hurdles, in 2014, but is a five-time flat winner and is ground-versatile. Buck Dancing has his second run for Pat Kelly here and can improve for his recent debut for the yard while 11yo Accordion Twilight is an ordinary handicapper but did run well enough at Tramore latest and has some place claims.
