FormscanBy Donal Murphy - I'll take a bit of a chance here on B C'S PRIDE. The son of Definite Article is a full-brother to Pride Of The Artic and Nathans Pride, who won fifteen races between them. The selection clearly isn't up to that standard, but he did win a point-to-point last year, and ran well to finish second in a hunters chase at Downpatrick on his last start. He has his first run over flights now since July of 2016, and he should give a good account of himself with Barry Browne taking a valuable five pounds off. Dazzling Sarah is given second preference after finishing fifth of twenty-three at Punchestown on her last start. The daughter of Stowaway was fitted with blinkers for the first time at Punchestown, and they remain in place now. Stonehall Jack loves quick ground, and he should run well, while others for the shortlist are Pack Your Bags, Absainte, Moll Dote, and Shantelle.
