FormscanBy Tom Weekes - This is wishy-washy stuff in a race laden with horses aiming to increase their ratings sufficiently to beat the ballot in 45-65 handicaps next time. CASTLE GUEST is the pick despite having not won since August 2016 but is a proven performer on easy ground and this trip. It would be remiss not to mention CASTLE GUEST's first of seven career wins was gained from a lowly 47 rating here in May 2012 and while he is now on a 19-race losing run, this represents an excellent chance to gain another win. He comes here following an encouraging reappearance effort at Navan last month. Stormy Air is another useful handicapper who has winning form last year and also comes here fit and well, having met trouble in-running on his latest two starts. He has a wide draw in 13 today which shouldn't bother him too much in this weak race and while he seems to be equally at home on most surfaces, he would ideally prefer a shorter trip. Yamato is another useful handicapper and while he has a lowly 44 rating, has won twice in the past. He too comes here fit and well and with a low weight of 8st1lbs, is likely to get involved at the business end too. High Mark is a Godolphin cast-off who showed ability on debut in November 2016. He has his second start for new connections here and should be capable of improving from his recent Dundalk reappearance run. Rockview Emperor was a useful handicapper at his best but is best watched on his reappearance run today.%0A
