The Willie Mullins-trained mare filled the runner-up spot behind Carrigeen Lotus on debut at Cork last month and, on a line through that winner, put up a similar performance when stepped up to Grade 2 company in the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown. Runner-up Politesse has since franked the form by bolting up at Thurles and this certainly represents a significant drop in class for the selection. Daphne Moon looks capable of winning a mares’ bumper judged on her opening two outings but needs to bounce back after disappointing when odds-on at Naas before Christmas. Phillapa Sue hails from a good staying family that traces back to Shuil Ar Aghaidh and any market support would be interesting.
