FormscanBy Tom Weekes - BEECHMOUNT WHISPER is a very solid performer and should be able to figure at the business end despite his big weight. He rarely runs a bad race and ran a cracker on just his second hurdles starts when second in a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse latest. He is 7lbs higher than when winning at Leopardstown last month but has a good draw in 2, which will help him make the running and can take plenty catching. Ligeti has himself proven very consistent and could progress further on his return to the turf. He was handicapped on three soft ground flat runs last year and it is possible that he can improve further from his 75 rating, back on turf. Elm Grove has been in excellent form recently and while she finished strongly when fourth on her most recent start, will need much softer ground to be seen at her best. Ruler Of France is absent since July but has obvious claims on best form and his chances are further helped by Pat Smullen being on board. Sharjah has some claims on recent form but might not be ahead of the handicapper at present.
