FormscanBy Michael Graham - BECKWITH PLACE was a most unlucky loser in Ballybrit and can gain compensation here. He suffered a nightmare passage before making up a tremendous amount of ground in the final furlong to get to within a nose of the winner Make A Challenge. That winner has also delivered in his next two races to strengthen the form. Beckwith Place has gone up another 5lb to a mark of 83 for that agonising defeat but it is worth noting that Make A Challenge won off 88 in the Curragh last night. Current Option is the dark horse. He looks just the sort that Ado McGuinness will eke a few wins out of. He was never out of the first three in five starts in England for William Haggas and signed off with a victory at Thirsk in June. There is likely to be some fun to be had with the three-year-old son of Camelot who makes his first start for McGuinness.
