FormscanBy Alan Magee - SKIFFLE is an interesting filly, and has plenty of scope for improvement. She made a promising debut when very slowly away at Ascot and was then thrown straight into a Listed race to open her account at Goodwood. The daughter of Dubawi was asked a big question on her only subsequent start in the Investec Oaks at Epsom but travelled as well as anything until her stamina seemed to give out inside the final quarter mile. She still finished just a head behind Somehow, and is taken to reverse places with the Ballydoyle contender over this more suitable trip. Somehow has a fair CV having landed the Cheshire Oaks earlier this year, and was only caught close home by stablemate Best In The World last time in the Group 3 Give Thanks Stakes at Cork. Adool has done little wrong in three starts, and the Fairyhouse maiden winner made the successful step up to Listed company in the Hurry Harriet Stakes over a similar trip at Gowran Park earlier this month. Planchart has been one of the standard bearers in a stellar season being enjoyed by Andy Slattery having landed the Listed Corrib Fillies Stakes at Galway last time.
