FormscanBy Donal Murphy - MOONSHINE BAY put in a much improved performance on his last start at Punchestown, and he should be able to take this. The son of Milan was bought for 120,000 pounds after winning a point-to-point, getting off the mark on his third start for current connections at Clonmel in January. He then disappointingly pulled up on his next two outings, before finishing an encouraging eighth of twenty-five at the Punchestown Festival. He was just over five lengths off the winner there, with Monotype, who was a place behind him, giving the form a boost by scoring at Wexford on Saturday. The Conditional was tried in Grade 1 company on his last start, and he is given second preference off a mark of 124, just two pounds lower than the selection. Tourboy will need to improve on recent efforts if he is to feature here, while Baily Moon and Ardean Lass look up against it considering they have yet to win over flights.
