He was well supported at the Waterford track eight days ago and had every chance in the closing stages, just failing by a head to peg back Persian Wind, who runs over hurdles earlier on the card. Canny Tom was in behind him in third then and he may be able to hold Gordon Elliott's consistent performer again. Aretesone was fourth in that Tramore race and is another who has a bit to find. Ardera Cross could be a danger on his chase debut. He ran a decent race to be placed in a handicap hurdle at Tramore and a mark of 109 over timber entitles him to have a big chance in this company. Scotch Beg, who beat Canny Tom over hurdles here last month, is another to note on her chasing debut.
