FormscanBy Michael Graham - Davy Russell is an interesting booking for OUR BRIAN who won an extended two and a quarter mile maiden hurdle at this track on his penultimate start in July. As a former point-to-point winner, this trip shouldn't be any bother to him. He had a stiff task when last seen in a novice hurdle at the Galway Festival in which he fell at the fourth last. Coolfighter has won his last three jumps races and looks dangerous. He is a Tramore specialist which will aid his cause as it is a similar track to Downpatrick. This is a step up in trip for him and the concern would be that he has been unplaced on his three previous appearances over two and a half miles. His hat-trick of wins over the summer all came at two miles. Gordon Elliott has a strong hand with Vote Of Confidence, who won on Friday evening in Down Royal, and Rendezvous Peak who was placed in Bellewstown over three miles. He also has Urtheoneiwant who was second over two miles seven here earlier in the month. Tellthemnuttin is climbing the weights but goes well at this venue. She cannot be ruled out having been freshened up after a busy July.
