The four-year-old gelding caught the eye on his handicap debut over the course last month, finishing fifth in the race won by Presenting Julio. He followed-up on that effort by filling the runner-up spot on his most recent start. He looked set to deliver on that occasion, but just failed to see out the trip, and the drop back to two mile one here should suit him better. Ardview Boy was a good second to Fiesole at Down Royal on his last start, and he looks a leading contender for his Cavan based handler Tony Mulholland. Shek O Lad is another with strong claims. The eight-year-old gelding is a course and distance winner, and was second to Bective Cave at Roscommon on Monday. Up The Town was disappointing on his handicap debut, but should come on plenty for that experience, while others to consider are Kilkeaskins First and Canova (first time cheekpieces).
