FormscanBy Tom Weekes - TOM DOOLEY has yet to win at this mile trip but might be able to do so today, coming here in good form on his first start for new connections. He showed plenty dash to win at Laytown latest, when claimed, and today drops in grade to this 45-65 category for the first time since winning in this grade in July. He is a proven and reliable performer and has sound claims despite the small worry about the trip. Wild Shot is an obvious danger given he is a course and distance winner (beating Iconic Figure) in August. He has been raised 7lbs for that success but is open to more improvement being a three year old. Streisand, under Pat Smullen, has yet to race at this venue but could win races from her rating. She lacks experience but showed ability at Tipperary latest. Boxer Dunford is without a win in 13 starts but ran well at Laytown, admitadly over 6f, latest while Border Prince ran well over this CD in May and should be able to benefit from a recent reappearance run.
