Four weeks ago over the course and distance the son of Camelot made an encouraging debut when fifth, beaten five lengths by the winner, Moll, on that occasion. Mr Mooj raced in ninth early and he was a little keen. Eleventh approaching halfway, the selection made some headway but was making no impression when not having much room under two furlongs out. Soon switched right the three-year-old kept on without threatening inside the final furlong. Hopefully the experience gained then will help Mr Mooj to take advantage of the good draw he’s been handed in stall one. Kokura, Yulong Transcend, Maziyda and Ubume would look to be some of the better alternatives if you’re of a mind to take on Mr Mooj.
