FormscanBy Tom Weekes - TURBOJET might be able to win this competitive handicap on his first run for 58 days and, possibly, in the process book his Cheltenham Festival ticket. He is proven and useful in these type of races and while he is winless since his wide margin maiden hurdle win at Listowel in September, has since contested a Grade 2 contest won by Samcro and was fourth in a useful Pertemps Hurdle Qualifier at Leopardstown. A win here could leave him in the reckoning for a possible Cheltenham Pertemps appearance. Out Of The Loop is bidding to credit trainer Padraig Roche with his first winner having given his father Christy Roche his final one, here in December. That December win was gained in the McManus/Roche time-honoured tradition of a winning gamble but today he competes from a 9lbs higher mark which could test him, despite his obvious potential for improvement. Drumacoo reverts from chasing and while he is well treated relative to his chase mark, was soundly enough beaten over hurdles in November. Laid Back Luke has been hit by an 8lbs hike for his recent Gowran win while Allez Kal and Brave Out have obvious claims on recent form. Sire Du Berlais ran well enough at Punchestown last April but is probably best watched under top weight here and on his return to action.
