FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Twice a course handicap hurdle victor, NICOLE'S MILAN could strike here at his first handicap chase attempt. His conqueror from Punchestown on January 30th, Goodthynemilan, has gone on to score again at Thurles since. That was only Nicole's Milan's second outing over racecourse fences, and he previously competed in a hot contest behind Sutton Place on New Year's Day. Encouragingly too, Nicole's Milan started his career with a point-to-point win, and he could well make a better chaser. Beantown finished second for the same connections in the 4-miler in 2006. Two miles five is probably a minimum for Nicole's Milan either, so expect Davy Russell to have him handy the whole way. Flahertys Gap and Whats In It For Me come here with enough to prove, but the rest have definite hopes.
