FormscanBy Michael Graham - The 142-rated FREE EXPRESSION is very hard to look beyond in this beginners' chase. He has won a point-to-point, a bumper, a maiden hurdle and a Grade Two novice hurdle, before finishing third in a Grade One novice hurdle back in January 2015. His first crack at a beginners' chase saw him beaten a length and a half by Outlander who also beat him in a Grade Two at Limerick. Interspersed between those runs, was a third in the Grade One Drinmore at Fairyhouse last November. He has won off a break before which reduces the concern at this being his first run since December. A Genie In Abottle reached a level of 135 over hurdles which makes him very much of interest. This former point-to-point winner should have a bright future over fences. Mouse Morris is sure to have Nambour well schooled for chasing. He hit a mark of 139 over hurdles after finishing second in a pair of Grade Twos. This is his first start for Morris and he is a significant player in this contest.
