FormscanBy Alan Magee - A high class maiden hurdle to get proceedings underway on day three of the Festival, and a couple of market leaders who surprisingly have failed to score yet over jumps. Silver Concorde is certainly the pick of these on the level having landed the Cheltenham Bumper back in 2014, and also won the Leopardstown November Handicap the following year. He finished second behind All The Answers in this race 12 months ago but on the negative side is without a run in nearly 11 months and the yard has failed to shine this term. CASTELLO SFORZA hails from a stable in much better form but has become frustrating over hurdles since taking a valuable sales bumper on debut at Fairyhouse. He handles cut in the ground, and may be suited by this drop in trip. Turbojet has filled the runner-up spot three times and would be favourite to land most summer maiden hurdles, while the selection’s stablemate Minella Beau won a Cork bumper in fine style at Easter.
