The son of Camelot didn't show a whole lot on his first three starts, but put in a much improved performance on his handicap debut at Navan last month. After racing in rear, the bay colt kept on to good effect in the straight, and finished a never nearer third. He can be expected to come on plenty for that experience, and it'll be disappointing if he is not involved toward the business end here. Ideal Pal was second in that Navan contest, and he re-opposes now. The son of Tough As Nails was also making his debut in handicap company at Proudstown Park, and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to go one place better now. Isle Of Shadows was a close-up fourth at Dundalk recently, and looks to have strong claims, while others for the shortlist are Spiritual Impulse, Cuban Surfer, Muntahez, and top-weight Larmour.
