On Irish Field duty for that Kilbeggan win I wrote - It's six years now since we last saw the brilliant miler Canford Cliffs strut his stuff.As a sire he's already responsible for a decent hurdler in Cliffs Of Dover.There could be another good jumper amongst his progeny judging by what we saw from Nessun Dorma in the Tullamore Maiden Hurdle at Kilbeggan.Niall Kennelly owns this four-year-old,and here he was starting off for the Willie Mullins yard after one previous start,in a seven furlong maiden at Leopardstown last summer.Initiating a double for Mullins and Paul Townend in this two miler,the well-backed 2/1 joint favourite in the words of his rider "jumped brilliant,like a handicapper,and that was a big help around there first time out.He nipped around there lovely and I was always going well."Nessun Dorma led before the last to beat Papal Motel by three and three parts of a length.
