FormscanBy Michael Graham - This is a drop in class for SOMEHOW and she should take advantage of it. Aidan O'Brien's filly was fourth in the Investec Oaks and fifth in the Irish Oaks before landing the Group Three Snow Fairy Stakes at the Curragh in October. Her seasonal reappearance, in the same grade, saw her narrowly beaten in Naas by Mick Channon's raider Czabo. With a mark of 113, she is the class act in this contest. She has plenty of Group One and Group Two entries for the season ahead. Tony Martin's Laganore has won three times on good to firm ground. She was only pipped by a short head in a Group Three and has been successful at Listed level. From last May, her rating of 92 has improved to 109. She may just need this though, coming off a break since October. Lightly-raced Sea Swift holds an entry in the Group Three Blue Wind Stakes at the Curragh in May. After she won in Naas and Sligo, Dermot Weld talked about aiming for black-type with her. She was due to contest a Group Three in Naas earlier this month but was in season. The High Chaparral filly could come into the reckoning though quicker going may not be ideal, as she was a non runner here last May due to good to firm ground.
