FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Noel Meade and Mark O'Hare have already won three bumpers this week, and they look to have strong claims again here with ACTIVE FORCE. The son of Oscar won a point-to-point for Denis Murphy at Courtown in April of last year, and was subsequently sold for 165,000 pounds. He since ran well to finish fourth in a bumper at Leopardstown over Christmas, with subsequent winner Voix Des Tiep a place ahead of him in third. Sunday At Augusta was the subject of a gamble at Tramore last month, and he finished second there to Cuneo. He is tried in a hood for the first time now, and he can be expected to go close with Conor Fahy taking seven pounds off. Sancta Simona is the other obvious contender. The Willie Mullins trained filly was no match for Rhinestone on her debut at Thurles in December, and it'll be interesting to see how she fares now on this sounder surface.
