FormscanBy Gary Carson - VALGOR DU RONCERAY should be good enough to land a maiden hurdle of this standard. He was prominent until before the last in a competitive handicap hurdle at Punchestown last month and this looks an easier task now. A rating of 119 would be good enough to win most similar contests around Kilbeggan. Investmentsuccess was rated at a similar level last season and looks a threat. He has some decent placed form over timber and should be straight for this now after a spin around in the charity race at Punchestown last month. Great Khan was second on his last visit here but this is probably a stronger race now. Willie Mullins' charge Sharps Choice disappointed in a Tramore bumper last time but had some decent placed form previously, particularly when just losing out to Capital Force at Thurles. If he can recapture his best he'd be a big player.
