FormscanBy Donal Murphy - CLONDAW WARRIOR might be able to get back on track here. The twelve time winner has yet to really show his true worth so far this year, and was disappointing when only sixth in the Grade 3 Grimes Hurdle on his last start at Tipperary. His last run on the level came in the Belmont Gold Cup in June, and he takes a significant drop in class now. Four time Flat winner Stars Over The Sea is given second preference. He was a good fourth in the Saval Beg at Leopardstown on his last start, and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Vigil is another obvious danger. The classy hurdler won on the level at Navan in October, and he is sure to have plenty of supporters here with Dean Sinnott taking seven pounds off. Seven time winner Ancient Sands, and the Joseph O'Brien trained Felix Mendelssohn look the best of the rest.
