A proven useful stayer, both his hurdle and chase wins were over three miles and having run well when second at Fairyhouse in January, comes here clearly in top form. His chase mark is still 1lb below his hurdle rating and while the drop in trip isn't ideal, he should nonetheless give a good showing on testing ground. Golden Sunset has shown notable progression since changing colours to his new owner J.P. McManus last December and also comes here in good form. He was a well backed winner on soft ground at Down Royal in January and while he previously seemed unable to cope with very testing ground at Fairyhouse, should go well today despite his recent 6lbs ratings rise. Bridge Native wasn't beaten far over hurdles at Down Royal in January and while she doesn't look ahead of the handicapper, could place. Gunfire Reef has also been hurdling in recent runs and also has struggled to win from his mark in recent handicap chase starts. Dubai Devils is long absent and is probably best watched on his return today.
