FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - IMAGING is the pick here. He may have been the beaten 11/4 market-leader at Tipperary last time in the Group Three Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes, and though only fifth of the nine then, his effort wasn't without merit. Firstly it was a first outing since May for the Oasis Dream colt, and he was up from the Listed company he'd been keeping at Leopardstown in April and at Naas on his most recent start. Over an extended seven furlongs at 'the junction,' Imaging raced in sixth early, and he soon found himself in seventh position. Then, making his effort on the outer in the straight, the selection kept on without threatening inside the final furlong to end up over two and a half lengths off his stable companion and winner, Yulong Gold Fairy. The Bolger pair, Smash Williams and Flight Risk, were ahead of Imaging there, with Psychedelic Funk in behind. Hopefully the Rosewell House representative will cope with the good, good to firm in places forecast going now.
