A point-to-point winner on debut, he was subsequently bought by current connections for a cool GBP400,000 and has since shown a high level of ability to win two bumpers. The form of his most recent win has been boosted by the third-placed Run Wild Fred winning since and ENVOI ALLEN today gives away just 3lbs to his main rivals (well-bred flat type Ebadali is bottom weight but is unlikely to win on debut). Mt Leinster is a half-brother to his yard's Blackstairmountain, winner of the 2013 Nakayama Grand Jump, and is another capable type. He was beaten by high class Malone Road at Punchestown in November but was since a little disappointing when beaten over course and distance over Christmas. Embittered won his bumper comfortably at Punchestown in December but this is a big step up in class while Neptune won well here over Christmas but drops back in trip today which isn't ideal. Ash Hill won here over Christmas but faces a much tougher task today while Abacadabras faces a similarly big task, having won narrowly on debut at Galway in October.
