FormscanBy Gary Carson - BATCIO was running a big race when tipping up here last month and may be able to gain compensation. He was still disputing the lead when falling two from home in a competitive handicap chase and this looks a slightly weaker contest now. Smithscorner hasn't run since finishing second at Killarney last August but if stripping fit could be a big player. Envol Pierji may need further than this to be seen at his best but hasn't been harshly treated getting in here off 113 considering his hurdles mark is half a stone higher so he looks one to keep an eye on.
