FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - POWERSBOMB, a faller at the last when shaping as a winner, over the course and distance at the Christmas festival, catches the eye here. It's easy enough to see how Powersbomb hit a low of 1.33 in running before coming a cropper in a race that eventually went the way of Lake Takapuna. Ball D'arc, third then, has gone on to show the form in a good light by winning the Dan Moore at Fairyhouse subsequently. It seems much of a muchness with some of the opposition but you'd obviously be factoring in the likes of King's Wharf, Elusive Ivy, Fair Return, Samanntom, Dallas Cowboy and Pulled Mussel.
