KIRK’S DANCER made a promising debut at Dundalk last August, and the form of that race could hardly have worked out much better since. The American-bred finished third to no less than dual Guineas heroine Winter, and that seven-furlong event has thrown up a hatful of winners since. It’s obviously a negative that she has not been seen since but hopefully the market will speak in her favour. Xenobia has raced prominently on both outings todate and beat all bar White Satin Dancer in a backend 19-runner maiden at Leopardstown. She was beaten just over a length when reappearing at Naas last month, and looks sure to break her maiden tag soon. Guthanna Gaoithe was a big eye-catcher on debut at Listowel and, if progressing from that experience, should give a good account. The Paul Deegan-trained filly was totally detached at halfway and appeared to be going nowhere. However the penny certainly dropped in the straight and she powered home to take fourth behind Elusive Duchess.
