He travelled well throughout then to beat a high class field and should actually relish stepping up in trip now. He had Alpha Des Obeaux and A Toi Phil in behind last time and can confirm placings. Briar Hill looks the pick of Willie Mullins team, with Ruby Walsh on board, and is another who will appreciate the three miles. He ran well over an inadequate 2m1f at Navan last time but should be a different prospect now when his stamina comes into play. Martello Tower scrambled home at Fairyhouse last time but is another who will be better over three miles and can’t be discounted.
