I'm looking forward to Free To Dream being launched over a fence but the handicapper says he'll struggle to beat the big two here and I tend to agree with the assessor in this case. Strictly on the ratings, Pride ofthe Parish should edge things and the relatively un-exposed selection could be difficult to upstage. A course winner, the eight-year-old son of Flemensfirth had Limerick's Wednesday scorer, Futuramic, well-adrift in third at Punchestown last time and another half a mile could suit even better now. Our Vinnie will have to concede 6Ibs to Pride ofthe Parish, no easy task given that there's three years between the pair in age and likeable and all as the top horse is, he has quite a task on – on these terms anyway.
