Bythesametoken had a couple of fair efforts in maiden hurdles for previous handler Peter Fahey, and his second start for Ross O’Sullivan saw him run respectably in handicap company at Roscommon earlier this month. Tapenade ran okay to be fourth in a similar event at Sligo and couldn’t be dismissed coming from a powerful yard.
