The Sholokhov gelding was a smart sort in bumpers winning twice including when stretching clear in the straight over 2m2f at the Galway Festival. He’s reportedly schooled well and this trip should play to his strengths. Envious Editor has shown some useful form in maiden hurdles notably behind Longhouse Poet over this trip at Navan, and it will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market after a couple of disappointing runs since. Fortune Street won a Wexford bumper in good style last year and has subsequently shown promise over hurdles, while Coolbane Boy and Gallowglass are others to consider.
