FormscanBy Michael Graham - This looks a shoot-out between WINNER TAKES ITALL and Bronagh's Belle. Preference is for the former who was nicely backed at Galway where he made a more than satisfactory debut over flights in third. He wasn't beaten far by a couple of useful sorts, including the runner-up Morosini who was third in the valuable Lartigue at Listowel on Tuesday. Former Flat winner Bronagh's Belle switched to hurdling and came in runner-up to Caer at Sligo. She went off favourite for that assignment. Although she could make no impression on the winner, she was 10 lengths in front of third-placed Waitnsee who then won a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe by a whopping 24 lengths. Bronagh's Belle, who represents Willie Mullins and Paul Townend, is a major player. Ciao looks best of the rest. She was 2/1 favourite for her hurdling debut at Wexford but finished seventh. There is likely to be plenty more to come from her.
