He slammed a subsequent winner (Cocohulababy) by seven and a half lengths there, so is of obvious interest in this novice hurdle. Turnpike Trip won twice on the Flat in Britain and has made a good start to his jumping career with Charles Byrnes. He won his maiden hurdle at Cork in July and then came in second in a Listed contest at Galway. He was heavily punted in Ballybrit but went down by a length and a quarter. The Champs Elysees gelding should give the 'jolly' plenty to think about. Don Patricio made all in Sligo. The form hasn't been franked but he clearly relished those tactics and could try to adopt them again.
