He made up plenty of ground then before flattening out inside the final furlong to finish sixth. The handicapper has dropped him a couple of pounds since and this looks an easier assignment. He was a winner in heavy ground at Roscommon, over this trip, last season and that looks a big plus. King Christophe comes here in winning form, having scored at Dundalk last month, but the ground now is a total contrast. Harvey Specter ran well a couple of times in soft ground at the back end of last year and looks another to consider.
