FormscanBy Donal Murphy - FERRETTI is the suggestion in this wide-open heat. After five failed attempts, he finally got off the mark at Dundalk on his penultimate start. Given a mark of 84, he then ran a fine race on his handicap debut, finishing a staying-on fourth behind easy winner I Am Superman. He had some useful sorts behind him there, and a reproduction of that effort should see him go close. The consistent Empire Line has been campaigned solely at Dundalk, and it'll be interesting to see how he fares on his turf debut. Gustavus Weston, Chestnut Express and Klute are all capable of making an impact, while others for the shortlist are Erich Bloch, Sonaiyla and Syrena.
