The son of Casamento won his maiden at Fairyhouse in July, going down by just half a length to the smart Leo Minor on his next start. He put in his best performance to date when making all over the course last month, and he should prove hard to beat here as he steps back up in trip to seven furlongs. Ger Lyons trains the selection and he is also represented by Hansian Prince and Mack Attack. The former is the second highest rated runner in the field after Noivado, and he won his maiden at Limerick earlier this month. Mack Attack was disappointingly beaten at Limerick last weekend, and he is opposed. Trevanna beat the aforementioned Hansian Prince when winning on debut at Down Royal last month. The daughter of Requinto should come on plenty for that experience, and she looks to have solid claims here. Massif Central has two good efforts to his name, and he is sure to have plenty of supporters, while others to consider are the Pat Smullen ridden Youarewonder, and the Gavin Cromwell trained Pandagreen.
