FormscanBy Michael Graham - Small fields suit KATIYMANN and the recent Fairyhouse winner gets his wish in this five-runner handicap. He is highly likely to be ridden like he was when winning last week - waited with before delivering his challenge in the latter stages. He bounced back to form in Fairyhouse and there should be more to come as Mick Halford mentioned that he gave a heave when he got to the line, and that he has had a small wind operation. The handicapper gave him a chance in Fairyhouse as he won that off a mark of 82. There should still be a bit of juice in his new mark of 87. Texas Rock and Laegan Gaeilge have an even quicker turnaround from their races on Saturday. The former has a welter burden of 10 st 4lb here, while the latter was third in a decent fillies' handicap having only given best inside the final furlong (before being hampered when her winning chance had gone). Ger Lyons runs two - Major Reward and Excelcius. Major Reward didn't have a clear route on his first start for Lyons when third at Limerick, and there should be more to come from him. Excelcius was nearest at the finish when fourth in Ayr but this looks tougher.
