He had been off for a few months before his trip to Prestbury Park and may settle better now that he has had a run. With an official mark of 136 he certainly should be up to taking a race like this. Crest was turned over at a short price at Down Royal last time but ran well to finish runner-up to Bright Tomorrow and he's entitled to another big show here. Ancient Sands is a smart sort over hurdles but needs to show significant improvement from his chase debut at Punchestown back in December. Aretesone is a consistent enough sort over timber but will find easier opportunities over the larger obstacles.
