FormscanBy Gary Carson - EASY GAME rattled home to land the spoils in the Monksfield Novice Hurdle here three weeks and may be able to repeat the trick now stepping up to Grade 2 company. He did well to pick up the leaders then after they got first run, quickening away from the back of the third last. The French-bred looks a nice stayer in the making and a true pace here would help. He is fancied to again account for Magnium and Choungaya, who he just edged out in a tight finish then. Gordon Elliott saddles three in the race and Defi Bleu would appear to be the main hope. He won well over course and distance here at that same meeting three weeks ago when taking his maiden and that race was run quicker than the Grade 3 on the same card. Monbeg Worldwide comes into the race seeking a hat-trick and while this looks a step up in grade for him now he can't be discounted.
