FormscanBy Gary Carson - COMMANDER OF FLEET looks an exciting prospect tackling hurdles for the first time here. He won a point-to-point for Pat Doyle last March before joining Gordon Elliott and going on to take the Land Rover bumper in serious style. He posted an eight-and-a-half length victory over stable-mate Column Of Fire that day and that horse ran out a cosy winner of a Navan bumper on his return recently. He looks sure to be a short price on his return but it will be fascinating to see how he performs. Kalum River is a bumper winner himself and has been placed in a couple of decent winners contests since so this is no walk over by any means.
