It's not surprising to see Bryan Cooper choose him over Outlander though, as that fellow has to put a Clonmel fall behind him. Ruby Walsh's choice of the Willie Mullins trio, DJAKADAM, will do for me. He obviously did the business in this event last year and Willie Mullins said of him in a Racing Post stable tour on October 31st: "A very consistent performer in top staying chases, finishing second in the last two Cheltenham Gold Cups and Punchestown Gold Cups. We're looking at a similar campaign to last year and hopefully there might be a bit of improvement to come." Meanwhile Black Hercules looks dangerous and the Master of Closutton said of him: "At the start of last season we saw him as a horse for staying novice chases but then decided to drop him back to 2m4f in the JLT at Cheltenham. The trip seemed to suit him well and he won in good style. I'd imagine he'll be running in middle-distance races, although we could try him over shorter at some stage."
